Make a Donation to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre

The Centre is closely monitoring the Covid19 development.

We are following the World Health Organisation and local Bermuda Government guidance on best practices and our priority is to act in the best interest of our patients and the public, which includes you.

At this time, our Centre remains open for both diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy appointments.

However, if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • cough
  • fever
  • shortness of breath

We ask that you contact your GP for further advice. We will be happy to reschedule your mammography, ultrasound and bone densitometry appointments for a future date.  Radiation therapy patients are asked to call RT directly, 236-7035, to discuss any health concerns they have.

It is imperative that if you are unwell with any of the listed symptoms, or feel unwell with ‘flu’ or ‘respiratory’ type symptoms that you contact your GP for further advice.

DO NOT just go to your GP's office or come to our Centre without calling first.

Things you should be doing to reduce your risk and prevent the spread of any of the cold and flu viruses.

Do

  • wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
  • use hand sanitizer gel if soap and water are not available
  • cover your mouth and nose with a tissue if you cough or sneeze – or cough/sneeze into the crook of your elbow/sleeve if a tissue is not available
  • put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands immediately

Don’t

  • do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands (‘T’ zone of the face)

We truly appreciate your flexibility and thank you for choosing Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre.
