With the 2019 Relay For Life of Bermuda event behind us and donations still rolling in, the volunteer event committee would like to thank everyone who was a part of this extraordinary event.
It is like a puzzle that comes together. Each piece reliant on the next to complete the picture.
Event sponsors donations cover 100% of the event cost! This means that every dollar raised funds by teams and spent by attendees supports our equal access fund. This fund provides subsidisation to early cancer detection and radiation therapy so that no one has missed an appointment because they cannot afford the service.
Volunteers work tirelessly as an extension of the volunteer event committee to ensure the smooth rollout of the event and safety of the participants.
The team captains recruit fabulous teams and bring the spirit of Relay to life. The entertainment and activities which revitalise tired souls and kept us moving to the beat and walking the track for 24hrs because cancer doesn't sleep and neither did we.
All the puzzle pieces together reveal a community who came together to Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back!
