The Luminaria Ceremony is one of the highlights of Relay For Life.

All of Bermuda is invited to light up the night on May 15. To remember cancer survivors, we have lost and honour survivors still on their cancer journey, the caregivers and cancer support services.

This year’s Luminaria ceremony will begin on Facebook at 9pm, join us as we head outside our homes to create an island-wide Luminaria display using your own Luminaria bags, lanterns and flashlights.

Luminaria is a fundraiser, needed to help provide cancer detection and radiation treatment for those in our community who cannot afford the services.

*Everyone who donates to the 2020 Luminaria will be invited to submit a bag to travel to Portugal for the Global Relay For Life Luminaria Ceremony in November 2020.

May 15 - 6pm Celebrate - Opening Ceremony. 

May 15 - 9pm Remember - Luminaria Ceremony.

After a short ceremony, everyone is invited to move outside and help create an island-wide Luminaria display, using your own Luminaria bags, lanterns and flashlights.

May 16 - 12 pm Fight Back - Closing Ceremony.
