In response to an inquiry by The Royal Gazette re: Potential Impact of U.S. Tariffs on Pharmaceuticals and Medical Equipment

While Bermuda sources medications and medical supplies from the U.S., Europe, and other countries, tariffs applied in the U.S. can still affect global supply chains and drive up local pricing.

Although Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre does not administer chemotherapy, many of our radiation therapy patients receive it alongside their radiation treatment. Any increase in cost could limit access and compromise the effectiveness of coordinated treatment plans.

BCHC is actively monitoring the situation and remains committed to supporting our patients through any changes. Our priority is to work with our healthcare partners to ensure continuity of care and advocate for solutions that protect patient access to comprehensive cancer treatment in Bermuda.
