Why am I doing this?

My 6 year old son Jaaziah Van-Lowe will be running the last relay leg in the 2014 24th of May Marathon Event. For the past 6 years he has been growing his hair for cancer. A month after he was born his Great-Great Aunt Isabelle Simons was diagnosed with cancer and today she is Cancer free. I decided to grow his hair for cancer upon her diagnoses. His hair ranges between 10 and 12 inches long. Like Sampson in the bible he believes his hair is his strength and it takes a strong person to beat cancer. This is his last year growing his hair and has decided to run in the marathon to represent his Aunts strength. We target to raise $600 for Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre as my aunt battle is now over.
