WOW in their first St. Baldrick's event, over 40 BHS girls and staff shaved their heads and cut their locks raising over $72,000 for St. Baldrick's which funds childhood cancer reasearch.
Year 9 student Leila Prado led the initiative with the help of experienced shavee and staff member Tracy Renaud. Leila lost her grandmother to cancer before she was born and she has a friend who has battled cancer.
Thank you to each and everyone one of the BHS family who shaved, cut, supported , donated and cheered all in the name of childhood cancer research!
