Volunteers are the key in bringing together Relay For Life in our community. Without them, Relay For Life of Bermuda simply could not happen.
Relay For Life of Bermuda is organised by a volunteer committee – both in the lead-up to the event and on the day. Our committees comprise of people from a broad cross-section of the local community, including business, health, media, marketing, students, parents, cancer survivors and more. Both the Committee and Volunteers are supported by the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre through every step of the way in preparation for the big day. Committee members ensure everything is organized, from recruiting and motivating teams to planning the event and, volunteers assist and execute to make the Relay For Life event a success.
Volunteer your time to help out on the day – from setup, general admissions and registering survivors and caregivers, to monitoring activities in the kickback zone and handling merchandise, or even helping transport people around. Many hands make light work!
